The project began with multi-day on-site surveys across all eight hospital buildings. Each existing sign was documented, photographed, measured, and mapped to create a structured replacement plan aligned with current Texas Health brand standards. Comprehensive field documentation ensured accurate scope definition and streamlined fabrication sequencing for coordinated campus-wide deployment.

Brand Guideline Integration

All new signage components were produced to meet updated Texas Health brand color standards, typography specifications, and material requirements. Consistency across multiple buildings and floors was critical to ensure a unified healthcare identity across both campuses.

Fabrication & System Coordination

Sign types included interior and exterior directional signage, building directories, evacuation maps, stairwell identification signage, ADA-compliant room identification signs, blade signs, dimensional lettering, Texas Health logo applications, and exterior building identification systems.All tactile signage components were fabricated in-house, including raised characters and Grade 2 braille, ensuring ADA compliance across the full campus wayfinding system.

Installation Planning in Active Hospitals

Deployment was carefully sequenced to prevent disruption to patient movement, staff workflows, and emergency access routes. Installation teams coordinated closely with facility management to execute phased implementation across seven- to eight-floor hospital environments. Structured scheduling ensured operational continuity throughout both Dallas and Plano campuses.
