Frequently Asked Questions

Are wall graphics a good idea for my business?

Absolutely!  Wall graphics are a fantastic idea for your business. They instantly transform blank walls into powerful brand statements, helping you stand out and leave a lasting impression on customers. Unlike traditional décor, wall graphics can showcase your logo, mission, products, or even motivational messages in a way that reflects your brand’s personality. They’re also highly versatile.  You can use them to create a welcoming lobby, an inspiring workspace, or an eye-catching retail display. Best of all, they’re cost-effective compared to large-scale renovations and can be updated whenever your brand evolves. In short, wall graphics don’t just decorate a space, they turn your walls into a marketing tool that works for you every day.

Yes.  Wall graphics and wall murals are safe for churches, schools, and hospitals when installed with the right materials. Professional-grade graphics are printed with non-toxic, low-VOC inks and applied using adhesives that meet strict safety standards, making them safe for use around children, patients, and large groups. Many products are even GREENGUARD certified, meaning they’ve been tested for chemical emissions and meet health-based criteria for sensitive environments.

In addition, wall graphics are designed to be easily cleaned and maintained, which is especially important in high-traffic spaces like classrooms, lobbies, or healthcare facilities. With the right materials, they won’t damage walls and can be removed or updated without leaving residue.

So, whether it’s brightening a school hallway, adding inspiration to a church, or creating a calming atmosphere in a hospital, wall graphics and murals offer a safe, practical, and impactful solution.

Yes. You can still see out of your windows if you choose the right type of window graphics. Perforated window film (often called “one-way vision” graphics) is designed with tiny holes that allow people inside to see out, while displaying your design on the outside. This means you get the benefit of advertising, branding, or privacy without losing natural light or visibility.

From the outside, passersby see a bold, full-color graphic, but from the inside you’ll have a clear, shaded view, almost like looking through a tinted window. This makes perforated window graphics especially popular for storefronts, offices, and even vehicles.

Our project managers will help to be sure you are educated about the choices in both perforated vinyl and graphics so you will end up with exactly what you want.

Wall graphics are generally safe for walls and are designed with adhesives that can be removed cleanly. However, it’s important to note that not all vinyls are the same. Some films use more aggressive adhesives for long-term durability, and in those cases, a small amount of paint lift or surface damage may occur when the graphic is removed, especially if the wall wasn’t properly prepared or the paint was already weak.

The best way to avoid issues is to choose the right vinyl for your needs (removable vs. permanent), make sure your walls are smooth, clean, and well-painted, and follow professional installation and removal practices. That way, you’ll enjoy all the benefits of wall graphics with minimal risk to your walls.

For temporary wall or window graphics, the best options are materials designed with easy-to-remove adhesives. For walls, removable vinyl and fabric decals work well because they stick securely but peel away cleanly without damaging paint. For windows, static cling films and low-tack vinyls are popular since they don’t use permanent adhesive and can be repositioned or reused.

Wall and window graphics can last anywhere from a few months to several years, depending on the type of material and where they’re installed. Short-term films are great for temporary promotions, while higher-durability vinyls can stay looking good for years, especially indoors, where they’re protected from the weather.

Wall graphics can be made to fit just about any size wall.  From small accent decals to full floor-to-ceiling murals. Most printers produce them in panels, so even if your wall is very large, the design is printed in sections and then installed seamlessly to cover the entire surface. That means there’s really no size limit; whether it’s a small office wall, a classroom hallway, or a massive lobby, wall graphics can be scaled to fit.

Wall graphics can be applied to a wide variety of interior and exterior wall surfaces.  Common wall types include:

  • Painted drywall – the most common surface and ideal for vinyl or fabric graphics.

  • Glass or windows – with window film or static cling graphics.

  • Wood or paneling – smooth, sealed wood works well; rough or textured wood may require special films.

  • Metal or laminate surfaces – often found in offices, labs, or hospitals; removable vinyl works best.

  • Concrete or brick – smooth, painted concrete is fine; textured brick may need custom adhesive films.

Rough, peeling, or heavily textured surfaces can make adhesion difficult and may increase the risk of wall damage when removing the graphic.

Yes, you are able to add decorations on top of wall graphics.  Keep in mind that any damage to the wall graphic or vinyl cannot be easily repaired like drywall would.  However, it is common to add dimensional lettering, acrylics, pictures, and other decorations on top of wall graphics.

Perforated vinyl is a special type of window film designed with tiny holes that let people see out from one side while displaying a full-color graphic on the other. From the outside, your design appears bold and opaque, but from the inside, you can still see through the window almost like normal glass.

It’s often used for storefronts, offices, or vehicles because it combines branding or advertising with visibility and natural light. It can be printed with removable adhesives for temporary use or more durable adhesives for longer-term applications.
